Hiles Boulevard: With ample parking, showers, and lots of restrooms, Hiles Boulevard is a popular spot on the no-drive-beach for locals and those who don't mind a short drive further south. This is where we most often set up our clients for the day as the wide stretch of beach and peaceful car-free sand lends itself to the ultimate beach experience!
Canaveral National Seashore: Just south of New Smyrna Beach is the Canaveral National Seashore, a 57,000-acre national park lying between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River. This park includes pristine beaches, hiking trails, a restored turn-of-the-century home, a museum and information center.
North Beach: North of Flagler Avenue is North Beach Community Park, this park is a popular spot for beach photographers and offers two large parking lots off Sapphire Road for off-beach parking with direct ocean access via a wooden walkover. There are two covered pavilions with picnic tables and restrooms are on site along with open air showers.
Smyrna Dunes Park: Head to the northernmost part of New Smyrna Beach (and bring your dog!) for the one-of-a-kind beauty of Smyrna Dunes Park! This park is on 73 acres of untouched land at the northern tip of the New Smyrna Beach peninsula, and is surrounded by water on three sides. The park consists of five ecosystems (ocean, river, dunes, scrub zone, saltwater marsh). The principal system is vast sand dunes. To protect the sensitive sand dunes from foot traffic, two miles of elevated walkways, picnic areas, pavilions and an observation tower were built to allow visitors to access the area safely.
27th Avenue: For activity on and off the sand, check out 27th Avenue! This park includes a boardwalk, basketball and racquetball courts, picnic area and pavilion, fishing and swimming on the beach, restrooms and a new children's playground.
